Your Home Isn't Photo Ready

Photos are the first impression of your home and a buyer will decide within seconds if they would like to schedule a showing or move onto another house. Prior to putting your home on the market, there a few things you should do to ensure your home is up to listing photo standards.
1. There's Too Many Distractions
If your eyes jump to refrigerator magnets, photos, or personal items instead of the actual features of the homes, you are showing too much- We want to keep the buyers focused on the home's best features.
How to Fix this Fast:
- Remove all magnets and wall photos
-Clear the countertops
-Hide toiletries, cords and laundry
2. Lighting is Working Against You
Natural lighting is best! Dark rooms and yellow bulbs make a home feel dated.
How to Fix:
- Open all blinds
-Replace bulbs with soft white LED
-Turn on all lights in the home
3. Curb Appeal Can Reflect If The Home Was Taken Care Of
The minute buyers step out the car and walk up to the home, they start developing an opinion. If the home looks neglected from the exterior, they will assume the interior needs work too.
How to Fix:
-Clean out the gutters
-Freshen the mulch
-Power wash the exterior
-Trim tree branches and roots approaching the house
-Add a new welcome mat
